It looks like the regular, monthly subscription would be best for us, but I'm curious if there are any cheaper options? I know that big corporations can get it for around 70,- € per month with volume licensing, a third of the retail price. That would be nice for hosting some dev services, since we do a lot of cloud projects, but it's scoped per developer and can't be used for production, making it not really that enticing. I think the 3 year subscription comes with an additional 150,- $ per month Azure credits. I tried to download the 2019 Community Edition from Microsoft but their website wants me to have Enterprise Edition, only. * 3 year MSDN Subscription, around 10.000,- €, only available from retailers (and I didn't seem to find a simple shop where I can just buy it in Germany) * Monthly Subscription, via Azure (directly from Microsoft), around 220,- € per month As far as I can tell, for small companies there are two options: However, I'm a bit lost of what my options are.
Now that Visual Studio 2022 has been out for a while, I'm looking into options to upgrade from VS 2019.
